Q: What are the minimum system requirements for ELLevate English?

Q: What browsers are recommended?

A: The following browsers are recommended:

  • Internet Explorer 11
  • Edge 13
  • Firefox 43+
  • Chrome 48+
  • Safari 9+

Q: Can I use ELLevate English on my mobile device?

A: Yes. ELLevate is optimized for mobile usage. See Minimum System Requirements link for more information.


Q: How do I register for ELLevate English?

A: Please contact your local MHE consultant to register for ELLevate English.


Q: How do I check if I already have an existing ELLevate English account?

A: If an instructor tries to re-register with an existing Connect2 account, they will be informed that they have an existing account and provided a link to the Login page https://shop.mheducation.com/store/dle/instinitialize.


Q: Are multiple ELLevate accounts needed if I teach at different institutions/locations?

A: No, a single account can be affiliated with multiple institutions. During registration, the instructor can select up to 5 schools. There is an option inside Connect2 to toggle between schools.


Q: I have forgotten my password. How can I retrieve it?

A: The user can go to the password reset link: https://openlearning.mheducation.com/dle-login/lost.php, enter their email, and answer their security question to set a new password. If they enter the wrong security answer, they also have the choice to receive a reset email which contains the username. The password reset link is also available on the Login page.


Q: How do I change my password?

A: After log-in, click on Account (image on right upper corner), click on Manage Account and change email, password and other account information.


Q: How will my students register for ELLevate English?

A: Instructors should provide students with the invite (section) URL so they can register for the course. Registration for students will always be associated with a course page; there is no general registration page for students.


Q: What kind of Teacher Resources are available for ELLevate English?

A: A comprehensive Teacher’s Guide is available for ELLevate English. This can be accessed within the digital platform and is available to print as a PDF file.


Q: What does ELLevate English cost and how can I purchase?

A: ELLevate English is available either as a digital only or print/digital bundle. Please Contact Us to find out the pricing and purchasing options available in your region.


Q: How can I request Demo Access for ELLevate English?

A: Please contact your local MHE education consultant to arrange demo access or trials. 


Q: How is ELLevate English structured?

A: 6 levels of instruction aligned to CEFR Levels A1-B2 for grades 7-12.
